Position: Seasonal Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker

Job Description: Perform a variety of unskilled tasks, either working alone or with others using medium to heavy equipment, powered and/or hand tools, such as: maintenance of park facilities; maintain and prepare sports fields, pick up trash and debris from park grounds; empty trash cans in park area; clean park bathroom facilities; and other duties as requested. Some evening, weekend, holiday and on-call work may be required, potential for fluctuating work schedule. 30-40 hours per week.

Required Knowledge: Must possess the ability to operate medium to heavy equipment, use of hand and power tools, ability to understand and follow instructions, works outdoors. Must turn age 18 by April 15, 2008.

Starting Salary: $12.00/hour.

Employment Starting Date: April 15-May 15.
